Welcome to the Western Australia RC Jet Association (WestJet)
Westjet aims to encourage the positive promotion and building of jet models of all types.
Our members fly everything from multi engine turbine jets to small electric ducted fans.
Our aims as below form a part of our constitution, which we strive to follow and achieve:
To promote r/c jet modelling in Western Australia by, in particular, the promotion and encouragement in every way of the building, flying and development of the disciplines of flying Turbine and electric ducted fan jet models by members of the association located across the State of Western Australia.
To promote good fellowship between members, the members of other clubs and associations and amongst owners and operators of all model aircraft.
To promote the coexistence of jet modelling with others at shared flying sites through the development and promotion of suitable flying practices.
To promote the holding of and participation in suitable events both within and outside the state of Western Australia.
WestJet was started in the interest of improving the perception of RC jet flying and encouraging more cooperation, camaraderie and enjoyment of our sport and promotion of Jet flying.Above all else, Westjet promotes the enjoyment of the sport among all members.
